• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved email related options vanished

Hi,

after the last update to Version 17.5.3 Update #15 on CentOS 7.3
anything email related doesn't get displayed anymore.

The functionality is still there (= emails ARE working)

under tools & setings, no email options at all
under subscriptions, no tab for mail
under any subscriptions lets encrypt, no option to choose webmail.

Another seemingly unrelated issue also happened after the update.
EDIT: Resolving that issue also sorted this issue.

Seems to have been a weird corruption case within Plesk.
Posting this so others might benefit.

Hi,
Absolutely exactly the same happened again after the update last night to Version 17.5.3 Update #27 on CentOS 7.4

under tools & setings, no email options at all
under subscriptions, no tab for mail; and under "websites & domains", no icons for DNS, email addresses and mail settings.
under any subscriptions lets encrypt, no option to choose webmail.

As before, the health monitor would also not show on plesks admin control panel "home" page. (see link in above post)
Issue was resolved (like before) by uninstalling the server health monitor [which already solved the email-related issues] and then re-installing the server health monitor.
---
Is the weirdest combo that an update would make the health monitor and everything email related not show in the panel and an uninstall of the server health monitor solves it...

EDIT: am still investigating possible causes...
