Email Rules/Filters

Gene Steinberg

Regular Pleskian
So I haven't been able to find this when searching forums, but does Plesk support server-side email rules or filtering?

How does it get implemented?

Or do you set it in the webmail client? If that's the case, does that, therefore, make it apply to all email apps, since the incoming messages would then be filtered?

Please explain.

Peace,
Gene

Hi Gene,
yes it does support it, with Dovecot and Pigeonhole, you can manage the rules and folders in Horde (I assume roundcube too).
The rules would affect all mail clients assuming you are using IMAP or ActiveSync and have folder subscriptions setup.
For example if you create a rule for CRON mail to be delivered to a "Server Stuff" folder, the folder and the rule would be created in Horde and then the client would reflect the changes on the next sync.
I hope that's clear
Regards

Lloyd
