emails are delayed

Hello,
I have problem, the emails on my server are delayed. The problem is that incoming emails are delayed (1 hour, 2 hour, a few days). I can't find the reason Did somebody of you have that problem?
I will be grateful for help




Parallels Plesk Panel version 9.5.2
Operating system Linux 2.6.24-27-generic
CPU AuthenticAMD, Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2372 HE
Average load 1.17; 1.16; 1.06
 
Plesk mail log /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog should be investigated.
 
Hello,

Usually the emails are delayed when Greylist is enabled. I would suggest disabling it and see if the problem is solved.

Plesk -> Settings -> Spam filter settings -> uncheck "Switch on server-wide greylisting spam protection"

Hi Jace what was they outcome? Did this fix it for you? We are having this issue but we have grey listing turned off. I think it is only happening on some accounts as well...
