Emails notworking on Plesk 8.1 when Plesk Management Service is on !

Hi

Apparently, Plesk 8.1 update has a new quicker dll based mail pickup event handler that stops mail services on the server. All the mail services shows working when checked in the services, but the emails dont go / come. They are held in the spool.

I had reported the problem to Swsoft support and they switched pickup event handler back to memafilter.exe that resolved the issue, but today again my emails have stopped working.

When I stop the Please management Service, emails start working again smoothly, but the plesk panel does not open up.

Anyone else having similar problems and knows what may be the resolution to this problem ? Maybe the plesk update automatically puts back the old event handler and screws up emails. How to work around this problem ?

You will see that you are not the only one having this problem and SWsoft just doesn't care about it. Just read the moderator's replies.

OMG....I've been using plesk for over 2 weeks and believe me, every single day I had some or the other issues with their cpanel.

The kind of replies the admin has given is horrible...Is there anything better & more stable than plesk where we can move over ?

I heard DotNetPanel (http://www.dotnetpanel.com/) is pretty good and their support team is actually helping their their clients, but I didn't have the change to test it yet.
