  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Enabling Spam Protection On All Mailboxes

Christopher McBride

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I'm moving from 4PSA's spam guardian to MagicSpam and have found that MagicSpam works extremely well.

It doesn't, though, offer content filtering for anything that manages to get through its already tight setup.

From their forum, they suggest running it in parallel with SpamAssassin.

My main reason for uninstalling Spam Guardian is that it does not "play nice" with autoresponders - because of the way it was written, it does not process the mail until after all individual handlers have been executed.

An autoresponder is an individual handler and Spam Guarian is global - meaning spam will be replied to!!!

I have reinstalled Plesk's own Spam Protection, however I wish for all mailboxes to "Delete spam mail when it comes to mailbox".

Can this be done with a command line program? Or with an SQL amendment?

If not, it will mean hundreds of manual tick-boxes to be ticked!

Thanks

Look at 'reject_spam' field in 'spamfilter' table. Maybe it will help you.
