• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Enhanced Security

I know that this is not wordpress!! BUT wordpress is related to my post in a weird kind of way.

In wordpress there are function hooks into the system, i.e.

wp_set_password can be overridden and then linked in to, purpose of this is to have more logic within the password changing process.

What I would like to do IF Possible, is create a plugin for plesk 11 which will alter the password changing process (still keeping ALL of its existing functionality) but saving the password else where as well. The purpose of this ?? Well to be able to send my customers login details without having to change their passwords :)

Customer service right there :)

Well you can if you know what do. However, you are just better off not enabling security enhancement in Plesk 11.
