  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Possible Answer 997

Have found that this problem only occurs if the Windows 2003 Server is a domain controller and or has active directory installed bieng a domain controller.
Plesk DNS services and other misc services do not play well with the new technologies of Windows Active Directory Services.
However if you have a linux box. the installs and services run pretty much flawlessly.
Advice. Remove active directory and only have as a stand alone workstation. Plesk does like that configuration. as well it sais in the plesk installation manual .. FRESH INSTALL windows 2003. No special Mods.
