• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Error: Certificate '' cannot be set as default one: private key is missing. during initial install

New Pleskian
Hello,

I've seen this question asked a lot, but with no resolution that I can find.

I get the above error during install, and am stuck, as there does not appear to be any way round this. I have seen solution based on manipulating the letsencrypt certificates, but this is obviously not possible from the installation GUI. Is it possible from the CLI?

One other thing to mention is that the server is NAT'd, so that the IP of the NIC is different from the public IP.

I have checked the key and cert are present for the sw-cp-server instance that is running.

This is blocking the installation on a couple of my servers, so a quick solution is appreciated :)

Many Thanks in advance
