• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Error: database disk image is malformed

We are Borg

New Pleskian
When I try to enter Backup Manager I get the following error “Error: database disk image is malformed”. I saw that fail2ban could be the issue so i removed it and reinstalled it but that did not solve the issue. The rest is working i can make domains and the sites work but i can’t do anything with backup manager.

Please check that integrity check on backup manager database fails like:

Code:
# sqlite3 /usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/tasks.db
sqlite> pragma integrity_check;
*** in database main ***
On tree page 8 cell 0: 1 of 2 pages missing from overflow list starting at 14
On tree page 9 cell 0: 1 of 2 pages missing from overflow list starting at 72
...............
Error: database disk image is malformed

In this case move tasks.db out of /usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/ :

# mv /usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/tasks.db /tmp/

Try to open Backup Manager once again, new tasks.db file will be created automatically.
