Error Install App in Webspace Joomla 3.5.1

Hi,

if i install joomla 3.5.1 with custom settings i got the follwing error:

Fehler: Bei der Installation der Anwendung ist folgender Fehler aufgetreten: Die Installation von joomla unter http://domain.tld/cms ist fehlgeschlagen. Non-zero exit status returned by script. If i install a default joomla in the root folder it works.

What can be the problem here?

Hello,

I have the same problem. Want to install JOOMLA as application in some Subdomains. 3 times it works. 2 times it failed. with same error you have mor or less).

Are you sure the cms folder is empty?

Try to remove cache in tools and setting ----->> application vault
