Error Publishing: The site cannot be published to the specified location.

I get the following error when i use the PUBLISH button from the web interface:
The site cannot be published to the specified location.
The site has been published, but the modules data have not been updated.

Eventhough i get the error the site gets published. If i publish the site via the control panel, i get no errors.

Running: SiteBuilder 4.0 with windows 2003 Server

Try to check Logs section in Sitebuilder admin panel for exactly errors. You can also check log file directly on the server in SB_ROOT\_logs\Application.log. Please check it up and post exactly logs errors which you have after trying to accomplish publication.

I am facing the same problem while publishing from Sitebuilder4.0

Following are the errors:
Action status: 2; Target: /Admin/Site/List; Messages: The specified publishing location has been checked with warnings. Publishing is available, but correct operation of the site is not guaranteed..
Cannot chmod 'data/storage' at the target server
Cannot chmod 'data/tmp' at the target server

Have checked all the folder permission and they seem correct.

I have the same problem:
Cannot chmod 'data/storage' at the target server (publication DSN is 'XCopy::::/home/www/xxx', current site title is 'fxxx' , site owner is 'xxx')

I do: chmod -R 0777 xxx
