• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question ERROR: The installation of the package 'aspnetcore-runtime-2.1-x64' failed with code 1638

New Pleskian
Details: ERROR: The installation of the package 'aspnetcore-runtime-2.1-x64' failed with code 1638. (install: Installing Microsoft ASP.NET Core 2.1.24 - Shared Framework (x64)...)
Not all packages were installed.

My installation only needs .NET Core 5, but I seem not to be able to remove it 2.1 and 3.1. I now have 2.1.25, but Plesk wants to install an older version. I don't want the footprint of older vulnerable versions. Is it possible to change the configuration so that Plesk does not try to install 2.1 at all?
