  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Error: Unable to retrieve information about the PHP configuration.

RobD1982

Basic Pleskian
After installing PHP 7(from Plesk installator)
I got this when getting phpinfo in:
Websites & Domains >PHP Settings > View the phpinfo() page

Error: Unable to retrieve information about the PHP configuration.

This happens on fresh config, what happens?
Tried "plesk repair web" - not helped.

Where is the log where I could check what is going on?
ps. nothing helped even if switch to PHP5(default install) still the same error.

It seems that incorrect document root for domain is set in Apache configuration.
Try to fix it with:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-domain example.com

@IgorG
Tried that as well with my domain, tried with ALL domains, rebooted, nothing helps still:
"Error: Unable to retrieve information about the PHP configuration."

I have the same error on 2 different Plesk VPSes.
There must be some serious bug.

Any idea how to check what it going on?

Hi RobD1982,

Where is the log where I could check what is going on?
Pls. consider to read and bookmark:

Sometimes, it is as well a good idea to change the log - level ( TEMPORARILY! ), to get more informations in psa - log - files:

Tried "plesk repair web" - not helped.
If the "web" - aspect - repair - process didn't help to solve an issue, you could as well try the COMPLETE repair - option, with for example:

plesk repair all -y -v

( ... and pls. be informed, that EACH repair - process creates as well a corresponding log - file at "/var/log/plesk", where you might investigate possible issues/errors/problems ).

Consider as well to update/upgrade your installed packages on your server with the commands:

For CentOS/RHEL - based operating systems:
Code:
yum clean all
yum update
For Debian/Ubuntu - based operating systems:
Code:
apt-get clean
apt-get update
aptitude upgrade
