Error using plesk restore

I am trying to migrate a set of websites from one server to another. I made backups on the old server using plesk 9.3 - dropped them into a ftp respository.

On the new vps I am using plesk 10.4.4.4
when I try to restore a site from an FTP repository I get the following error

: pmm-ras error (Error code = -6):

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'plesk::CurlException'

The files I have tried to move from the FTP repository are over 500mb

I have had success with files of upto 100mb

Suggestions or others with similar issues and resolutions?

Running on Centos 5 with php 5.3.13

Check the /tmp partition size. Or use the KB http://kb.parallels.com/en/6136
