  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello all,

I am new to plesk, so please excuse any ignorace in my post.

I am set up as a reseller on a server run by an ISP, on the server, so far, I have one domain called www.redlorry.co.za.

I am trying to suspend the domain, but I keep getting the below message every time I click the suspend domain button.

ERROR: PleskUserException
Unable to activate/deactivate domain: User or role 'RedLorry' does not exist in this database.

Additionally, an exception has occurred while trying to report this error: PleskFatalException
User or role 'RedLorry' does not exist in this database.

0: DomainToggleUIPointer.php:28
DomainToggleUIPointer->disableDomain(object of type BsDomain)
1: client.domain.toggle.php:44
plesk__client__domain__toggle->accessItem(string 'GET', NULL null)
2: UIPointer.php:601
UIPointer->access(string 'GET')
3: plesk.php:43

Any advice on fixing this?

Thanx

"User or role 'RedLorry' does not exist in this database".

Seems there is Plesk database inconsistency and it should be corrected manually. If you can't fix it by yourself - contact Parallels support team.

Hello Igor,

If you let me know how to fixe it I can.

Regards.

Solved the issue

Ok here is the resolution then. I created the domain with a db, and then restored over the db. That caused the issue my ISP figured it out and created the user and all was good.

Cheers
