Error while adding sql database to an account

Hi

We get error messages when we add sql databases.
This is the error message we get when we want to add sql database to an account. ---
unable to create databases: unable to create database-dependent object:
unable to connect to database: microsoft SQL server was not activated on the server administration page

We found that the databases can be accessed from the server.

1. Start Menu --> Programs --> Microsoft Sql Server ---> Query Analyzer.
2. At the editor (Right Side top window) typed the query

3. USE uye;
Select * from Spot_RefreshRates

4.and there is no error , infact the coloumns are
shown.

We also tried reinstalled the mssql database in the server,but still getting issues with user privileges to add and drop db resources using the control panel.

Please help ..... Its urgent

Can this be rectified ? This seems to be a bug in plesk7
Is there a patch for this ?
