  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Errors for PLESK_MAILNAMES_D

During an upgrade to Plesk 9, I got several errors stating Configuration variable not found: PLESK_MAILNAMES_D

Although the upgrade completed this error is still given when I try to use Plesk and the Plesk admin panel does not load.

How do I resolve ?

Well I tried it again by restoring 8.6 (which works fine) and upgrading to 9.0.0 but I get the same issue.

This is on CentOS5

Anyone ?

not sure if this is the solution but it appears to have worked.
I edited the psa config file (/etc/psa/psa.conf) and set PLESK_MAILNAMES_D to the same value as QMAIL_MAILNAMES_D
