• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • Our UX team believes in the in the power of direct feedback and would like to invite you to participate in interviews, tests, and surveys.
To stay in the loop and never miss an opportunity to share your thoughts, please subscribe to our UX research program. If you were previously part of the Plesk UX research program, please re-subscribe to continue receiving our invitations.

eShop Problems after upgrade

swopedesign

Regular Pleskian
I have an eShop in several web sites. They give an error message after the upgrade to 4.5 (from 4.2.3). I have republished the entire site, but I still get the message: "The eShop module has been upgraded. This module cannot work with old site versions. Please republish your site to upgrade your site too." on the eshop page. Any ideas?

Different problem with eShop after upgrade

The problem above resolved itself.

But does the upgrade to 4.5 DELETE products from eshop databases? We had a store with 90+ products and all but 2 are now missing in action.

Where on the server can one find the SiteBuilder database to investigate?

Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue?

As I know upgrade procedure (in case of upgrade from 4.2.x to 4.5) does not affect product itself. Modules database (including e-shop one) is stored on publication side and should not be affected. All modules data is stored in SQLite database - <site home_directory>/data/storage/sb_modules.db.

Hello all,

May I know the customer module data will be kept after the re-publish and Site Builder 4 upgrade?

and does it apply to the upgrade from Site Builder 4.0 to Site Builder 4.5 one?

Thank you very much for your kind attention.

Regards,
George.

All customers data should be kept after product upgrade. After upgrade from 4.0 to 4.5 version all sites which includes modules requires entire site re-publication.
