• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Hi,

Is it possible to export a mailman list of email addresses?

If so, how would you do it?

Thanks!

I googled for the answer but came up short, you might jump on the Mailman support mailing list and ask your question directly to the community.

You can get a list of the addresses fairly easy:

~mailman/bin/list_members MAILLISTNAME

where maillist name is the name of the mailing list that you want the list of email addresses for.

Hi,

Do I type this in at root?
~mailman/bin/list_members MAILLISTNAME

I got it! Thanks!

yep it executes the list_members file that is in the mailman home directories bin folder.

Can you tell me how I could copy this whole list?

I used the | less command but still copying one page at a time.

Easy way is to tell it to write to a file

~mailman/bin/list_members -o EMAILS.TXT MAILLISTNAME

Then you can simply download it to your main computer or similar using an scp/ftp client so that you can access it from any text editor

Thank you so much!

I just tried this and it worked great and certainly saved me a bunch of time.
