External links from slider images

Hello there,

Anyone know if there is a way around linking slider images to external web pages? When editing the slider in WPB you can only link it to internal web pages. If anyone has any advice, then it would be much appreciated.

Hi David23,

Would it work by linking to an internal page which is hidden from the navigation and then create an .htaccess file in the root directory with a permanent redirection to the target URL (https://www.google.com/search?q=.htaccess+redirect)?

Hi Dave,

I think this will be the only way to do this. I have a bit of knowledge on .htaccess so will give it a go and post what I do.
