Failed to get installation parameters of a WordPress website: No versions available

Roland

New Pleskian
I have installed the WordPress toolkit, and when I go to the WordPress screen and press Install to add a new WordPress site, the form that pops up gives the following error:
"Failed to get installation parameters of a WordPress website: No versions available"

When checking /var/log/plesk/panel.log, I see this:
[2019-11-27 16:51:39.742] ERR [extension/wp-toolkit] Unable to retrieve data by "https://api.wordpress.org/core/version-check/1.7/"

I have tried
curl https://api.wordpress.org/core/version-check/1.7/, this works
wget https://api.wordpress.org/core/version-check/1.7/, this gives a certificate error, but that may be unrelated

I hope someone can help me, as right now, the WordPress Toolkit isn't working.
