Question Failed to update Plesk

[Fx17]

Hello,
In the past few days, Plesk (17.5.3) is no longer able to update it automatically on one of my production servers.

Here is the error message that appears:

Bonjour Administrator,
Des problèmes sont survenus avec l'outil Mises à jour système sur votre serveur prod1.mx17.fr. Veuillez les résoudre manuellement.

Raison : 2017-12-19 06:49:31 INFO: pum is called with arguments: ['--update', '--json']

Have you tried to use following command for update:

# plesk installer --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --upgrade-installed-components

Do you have any errors in output?

HI i have an problem that i have an error Plesk install Plesk OnyxVersion 17.5.3 hope some one can advise me

Looks like a problem with Atomic repository. Have you tried contacting them?

Repo may be outdated.

Remove;

yum remove atomic-release

Reinstall;

wget -q -O - https://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic | sh

I found a fix at the plesk repair utility: Plesk Repair Utility: Installation
everything is back to normal again.

Yes, i did so, but it doesn't help. After patching i got "2018-06-29 10:52:27 ERROR: E:Can't find a source to download version '8+deb8u11' of 'base-files:amd64'" when updating with UI.

Looks like that something wrong with your apt repositories. Check it. It is your OS issue but not Plesk.

At the beginning of this thread your wrote todo "# plesk installer --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --upgrade-installed-components" with the known error. What's right now?

since the starting point is several month ago, take into consider to paste your actual full error message you got, not just a pice of it, it would be helpfull for the comunity and perhaps you might read this knowledge article: Unable to update system components through Plesk UI: Can't find a source to download version

Hi Peter, this command stops apache and the other services or can I execute it without any problems for clients?
