  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mail()

I have just leased a dedicated server which has Plesk 7.5 installed.

All the forms on my php sites no longer work. I get the error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mail()".

All these forms worked fine on my last server (Cobalt RaQ4).

Can anyone advise a solution.

Note I recognise there are other posts on this subject, but I can't find any with answers.

make sure you have a mail server installed, configured properly, and running

I know that cgi perl based form processing scripts that require sendmail are working.

So I assume sendmail is working fine.
