• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

FC4 psa base 8.01 refuses to install

I've tried upgrading the base package of plesk to 8.01, but it simply refuses to install.

OS: fedora core 4
Plesk: 8.0

I've tried the manual upgrade through putty and the auto update feature in plesk. The email report says that the installation of the base package was successful, but when restarting plesk the psa base version is still 8.0 and the auto update still lists that there is a psa base package upgrade available.

I've checked out the tmp folder where the psa update should be placed, but the folder is empty. The update goes much too fast, and it seems that it doesn't even download the update package.

What could be wrong?
