FCGIWrapper remove custom env variables defined with FcgidInitialEnv

Polmonino

New Pleskian
I need to define the SQLANY17 environment variable (need by SAP SQL Anywhere PHP extension). I'm running PHP 5.5 with FastCGI and a custom vhost.conf like the following:

Code:
<IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
        FcgidInitialEnv SQLANY17 /opt/sqlanywhere17
</IfModule>

This is not working as phpinfo() doesn't show the environment variable under the environment section. However the following works:

Code:
<IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
        FcgidInitialEnv PP_CUSTOM_PHP_INISQLANY17 /opt/sqlanywhere17
</IfModule>

That is, if you define a variable starting with "PP_CUSTOM_PHP_INI" prefix the variable is not stripped anymore.

This is the intended behaviour? If yes, how can I make the extension work (that is how to define my custom variable)?
