  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Fedora Core 4

It seems to run on FC3, But I'd like to know if it runs on FC4 as well.

Then again FC4 is only what, a month old?

My problem is I've got a rack full of Dual Opterons I'd love to deploy as Plesk boxes.

FC4 has some very nice x86-64 optimizations.

I have, expect to see FC4 and 4ES/CentOS 4 support in the upcoming Atomic-PSA rpm. Lots of neat features in FC4, php 5, mysql 4.1 and Xen virtual server support.

atomicturtle,

Not to be dismissive of your project, but I think my boss would prefer to be running Plesk with out any 3rd party modifications.

Are you able to run FC4 with Plesk without them?

Maybe drop me a PM with some more info on your Atomic-PSA project.

So, I guess the next question is, How does SW-soft feel about your "project" ?

As I said, I'm interested in your project,
but I'm sure the boss may shoot it down.

It currently lives in my [atomic-testing] yum channel. I am very much in need of alpha testers for atomic-psa, especially people running FC4 and 4ES/CentOS 4.

Alpha Tester

I have a poweredge in dev environment I would like to test atomic psa on fc4
