Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to resize a field inside the feedback form, not the form itself which I know you can do.

If it’s not possible is there a feature request for this?

Reason:

I have several customers who wish to enlarge one of the fields in the feedback form into more of a box than a single line, to allow for responses which prompt for a paragraph of text.

At the moment they seem to be only able to have a single line, which just keeps on extending horizontally but this makes it very hard for the end user to read over what they have typed and does not look very professional.

I dont believe it is as it is something I would like to be able to do. I could be wrong but I cant see how to do it.

Yes, I understand what you are talking about. I have passed this to developers as feature request and also asked for possibility to tune this on life installation. I will post here any news. Thanks' for the note.

Actually, it looks like feature which you need already available there. When you click on Add/Edit fields for feedback module in Wizard just change the type of the field to text, for example and you will get not string but text area for inputs. Please check it up. There are different types available for the fields.

Thanks Dmitry, that brings us part of the way there. When I did that I could make a comments box which allows for about 2 lines of text to be displayed on screen with out the need for scrolling. I tried but could not find anyway to make this particular box bigger or smaller. What we are after is the ability to set this one field so it can display half a dozzen lines or so of text. Don't get me wrong two lines is an improvement but try writing a couple of paragraphs of text while only being able to see two of them on screen at once...

As I can see comments field (which have 'Text' type) allows me to enter 3 strings without scrolling. Anyway, I understand what you are talking about, but as I know there is no way to expand this text box. It looks like textarea defined in /usr/local/sitebuilder/resources/modules/resources/styles/modules/Feedback/form.xsl file:

but there are no attributes which could be changed.

This text area is for the feedback which will be send to site owner, so I guess it is not necessary to make it huge to be able to see all the text.
