• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Is there any way to fetch the userID of a user who has logged onto a "protected URL"? I'd like to be able to limit or direct access of individuals based on their userID within the protected folder using ASP or ASP.NET.

Plesk doesn't provide such tools , you need to use Windows tools, or scripting language

I've since found that out. Too bad because it would make their Protected URL feature far more valueable. As for using Windows tools or scripting, it is my understanding Protected URLs are done within the Plesk system and not a Windows function. Regardless, the site is on a hosting server and I do not have the authority to make calls to the Windows security system (at least I don't believe they would offer me that option). For what it's worth, my hosting service support has placed a request with Plesk to offer this feature in later versions. Perhaps - someday...
