File does not show up after uploading.

A client is having some serious problems using FTP and the Plesk Filemanager.
For some reason none of the uploaded files seem to are within reach of a browser.

If I upload for example test.gif than does this show up on the server, in the filemanager and on FTP. However when I go to http://www.domain.tld/test.gif the file is not found. And yes, it is placed in HTTPDOCS.

I have tryed several options, deleting and restoring the account, resetting DNS, resetting FTP but none of these seem to work. What is the problem?
