Unable to connect to File Server
Hi all!!
I've followed the destructions on how to setup File Server and tried to access share on both a Mac OS X and XP workstation, both timeout. Any help would be muchly appreciated??
This is the path I'm trying to connect to:
smb://server_IPaddress/Sharename
I have chmod'd the folder on the server to 777 and started sharing however, still unable to access (should I be able to ping above path)!?
Any help would be muchly appreciated!!
This is what I get from File Server > Status >
Samba version 3.0.3-5
PID Username Group Machine
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Service pid machine Connected at
-------------------------------------------------------
No locked files
