• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Filemaker and firewall - port 5003

Hi,

We're having a spot of trouble - we've installed Filemaker Server (so far we've tried v5.5 and v7) on our Server2003 box (just installed last week) and are having trouble connecting to the databases remotely. It should simply be a case of specifying the IP address for the server in the FM client. FM uses port 5003 (this is IATA approved) and we suspect it's probably a firewall issue.

So far I've set rules in Plesk for TCP and UDP on port 5003, and have also edited the Plesk\admin\bin\pfwmng.js file to include this port for both TCP and UDP (as was suggested on another thread at http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?threadid=17107), but still no joy. I've also added port 5003 to the c:\WINDOWS/system32\drivers\etc\services file as per a suggestion I found on a Filemaker forum.

Is there anything else in Plesk I might be missing?

Many thanks
