• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question finding plesk database id

erkanboz032

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.55

I am creating a database with the create command from the API above. After creating it, it gives a database id. There is no problem with this. What I want is to retrieve the database ids previously created on the hosting. If you have the knowledge, I would be happy to help you.

As far as I know there is no history of past database creation processes. Instead, you could add an event trigger "Database created" that calls a script each time a database is created. Then you can log all these transactions to build a history of events. You could also examine the file timestamps in /var/lib/mysql for user database directories. From there you can find the most recently created databases and - if you need more data on them - query MariaDB (or MySQL) on them.
