  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Firewall can't modify when IP is changed

Hajime Tanaka

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
AlmaLinux 8.6 x86_64
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.43.1
My IP from ISP has been changed. Now I am able to log in on the VNC server. But I've disabled the firewall with SSH command and am unable to modify the firewall to change the IP Address, because if I decide to enable the firewall and will show just modify again... So I can't find any tutorial or explanation from Plesk documents so, unfortunately...

I am not sure if I understand your question. Do you want to know how to add your own IP address to the Plesk Firewall?

The link you already posted explains how to enable Plesk Firewall and how to add FireWall rules: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...rules-using-Plesk-Firewall-in-Plesk-for-Linux
I already said about this, but I'm asking for FTP and SSH, Plesk port, and with IP Allow range on VNC Server command, which I should add?

Below is an example of adding a new rule with the name "My rule" which will deny incoming connections from 203.0.113.2 on ports 2222/tcp, 2222/udp:
Because this explanation is not clearly so. I don't know where SSH and FTP, Plesk uses the port.

Or if it is not possible to modify, then there is a way to reset the firewall all of the systems back to default and remove the IP address from SSH command?

Try #plesk installer remove --components psa-firewall to remove firewall and afterward try #plesk installer add --components psa-firewall to install firewall again. I *think* all current firewall rules will be deleted when the Firewall is removed.

Thank you and this is helpful so...
