• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

TITLE:
Firewall rules not applied after reboot
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 Update #47, CentOS 7.5 / Virtual machine running under Virtuozzo 7 latest version / kernel 3.10.0-693.17.1.vz7.43.10
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
After updating to CentOS 7.5 the Plesk firewall rules are not applied after a reboot. CentOS 7.4 worked without problems.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Install Plesk / CentOS 7.4
- Update os to CentOS 7.5: yum update
- Reboot
ACTUAL RESULT:
Firewall rules are not applied.

After reboot clicking modify firewall rules > apply > applies the firewall rules again, then fail2ban > apply to create fail2ban rules

I did install this bugfix, but this did not resolve the issue:
Plesk Firewall rules are not active if restart/reload iptables
EXPECTED RESULT:
Plesk firewall rules applied after reboots to prevent unexpected downtime.
