Issue Folders not writable

Hello,

For my Prestashop I have to change file permissions to

find . -type f -exec chmod 0644 {} \;
find . -type d -exec chmod 0755 {} \;

Although CLI ls -l confirms folders are drwxr-xr-x and files are -rw-r--r-- I'm unable to write to these folders, even after I reboot my VPS.

What's going on and how do I fix this?

is user / group correct? Otherwise chown is your friend ...
