FreeBSD 5.5 Mysql

On upgrading from 8.0.1 to 8.1 I would like to use mysql5 which swsoft support says just use the mysql50 from ports.... However the swsoft/psa port requires mysql41 so whats the proper way to accomplish this?

good question, I would also like to know how to make a proper upgrade from mysql 4.x to 5.x on freebsd 6
