• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Fresh installed Plesk Onyx 17.0 on Ovh can't upgrade to 17.8

Regular Pleskian
Hello everyone, i'm going to switch all my hosting to a new dedicated server. The old one has Plesk 12.5 and i would like to use the latest version of all components (in order to be ok for a long time) so i think the best solution is Plesk 17.8.
Ovh provides a preinstalled image with Plesk 17.0 but i can't find the way to upgrade it to 17.8. I've bought a Pro license and already installed it. The installer can set up new components (eg. Php version, firewall...) but it says that the Plesk version is already updated.
What's wrong?

I'm not OVH client but I can assume that they use their own Plesk repository mirror without Plesk 17.8 for some reasons. Try to switch your Plesk repository from OVH to default Plesk in Plesk installer settings.
