ftp access for webusers

dear plesk gurus
we have setup our 8.1 plesk linus environment to
use sftp. if we create webusers, how do they access their homedirs. i could not mangage them, to access their homedirs with sftp.

If you go to domain -> Setup what is "Shell access to server with FTP user's credentials" set to? Also, when a user tries to login via sftp and it fails, what does the /var/log/secure (or /var/log/auth.log on Debian hosts) show?

shell access is set to /bin/bash chrooted. is this correct ?

1. What sft client are you using?
2. What error does it give?
3. What error is in these server logs when you try to log in:
/var/log/messages
/var/log/secure (or /var/log/auth.log on debian)
