FTP button not showing on plesk control panel

Hi, on my self managed server most softwares were preinstalled and i have to turn on or configure them,
i configured most softwares but i have these problems:
1- ftp: i restarted it and configured my proftpd.conf but the button for ftp does not show on plesk contro panel.
2- how to configure a link so that my cients can access to their control panel by using http://www.theirwebsite:8443/

1 you cant do that. ftp restart meant xinetd restart only from ssh root.
2 you cant do that either. you can have http(s)://theirwebsite:8443 by default, but that is giving cert errors.

to access through http the plesk there are some vhost and vhost_ssl.confs to be made, I did this but then the file manager becomes useless, all the other stuff was ok . at least with my script
