• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hi all

Very new to Plesk, so bare with me if this sounds stupid.

I setup FTP access on Plesk, then when i try connect to the server it seems to be trying to access through a old installation on FileZilla Beta server manager, that was obviously installed on the server a while back. I can only think it is not using which ever FTP manager Plesk uses.

Any ideas would be epic.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know what is this "FileZilla server". Microsoft FTP Server 7.0-8.0 is used as ftp server on Plesk for Windows. I think that you need to uninstall "FileZilla server" from Plesk as unsupported FTP server.

Sorted, just formatted my server and re-installed Plesk nice and cleanly.

Thanks for the reply. All looks good now.
