  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Does anyone know the difference between httpdocs and httpsdocs? I know it is an upload directory but my account set up both. What one do you use?

This is my first time using a virtual server so I am trying to learn all these new things. Get spoiled using a basic shared account.

Thanks for any help,
Nick

httpdocs is for your non-SSL site contents (http: ). httpsdocs is for your SSL site contents (https: ).

Each can contain separate index.html or index.php and other files, or they can be the same, or you can use just one or the other. Up to you to decide...

Ok thanks, I was just putting it into httpdocs to test it out and it worked. Then i saw the other one and was trying to figure out the difference.

Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.
