  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

FTP Storage Settings - Supplying Hostname With Username

Bungle99

New Pleskian
Hi,

Running Plesk 12.5 on CentOS 7 and attempting to setup backup manager to use a remote FTP server.

The remote server is running Microsoft Windows, and I have a number of web sites and FTP sites within IIS. All FTP sites are on the same port, so as part of a logon, I must specify the hostname. Normally I'd connect as follows:

FTP URL: ftp.sample.domain
Username: hostname|username
Password: password

I have successfully tested the connection I wish to use, however applying the same settings within Plesk is not working. I guess it is something to do with providing the hostname.

Can anyone offer assistance?

Have you tried to use IP address instead of hostname? And I'm not sure that symbol "|" can be used in username.
