FTP Upload of Backup Manager fails

Starting 6-8 weeks ago we are experiencing the following error message in automatic ftp upload by the backup manager.

Error:

Runtime error: Export dump to FTP failed at /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager line 726.

Error:

The dump have been made successfully but can not be imported to FTP due to errors.
The dump 'DS_QC_info_1402230816.xml' have been leaved at repository. Please export it manually

Error:

Can't upload file '/usr/local/psa/PMM/tmp/backupdksbXI/DS_QC_info_1402230816.xml.tar' to ftp. Error code: 1

Any idea on how to solve this because the auto updated micro updates did so far not soölve it.

Do you have enough free diskspace on FTP server?

Certainly yes,
FTP gets cleaned up regularly and currently has about 160Gb free space, enough for about 5 to 6 backup cycles.
