• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue fun with subscription migration between servers with a common database server

Dave W

Regular Pleskian
Hello,
Here is what I have found....

Subscription A on Server A has database A on database server DB_AB
Server B also uses database server DB_AB as a database server.

Migrate subscription A from Server A to Server B, all goes ok apart from Server B will not have any details of databases on Subscription A. If you then remove Subscription A from Server A ( as it no longer hosts the subscription) then the database is removed from DB_A.

Shouldnt the database details be transferred to Server B, and a flag set on Server A to not delete the database if the subscription is removed from Server A, as in the subscription has been migrated, do not delete databases.

Rgds
