  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Gaining access to the /conf directory via Plesk File Manager...

Blas A

New Pleskian
I am trying to install a program that has Multi Store capabilities.

For this it requires that I add a conf file in the /conf directory of my main account.

I don't want to use SSH... Well truth is that I much rather use the control panel for this.

I've used other control panels and they would allow access to all shares within the server....

Is there is a way for me to access the /var/www/vhosts/domain-name.com/conf directory via Plesk Panel? Or do I have to doit via SSH and root?

I tried FTP to that and I was not allowed either.

Thanks

Hello,

There is no way to access conf directory through FTP OR Plesk panel. You will have to do it through SSH with the root user

That's too bad...

I was trying to get away easy... but I had a feeling that was going to be the answer...

Thank you for responding...
