Gmail rejected POP3 accounts: "Cannot assign requested address"

Miguel Mesa Mesa

New Pleskian
If I setup an pop3 account from my server in Gmail, Gmail returns:
Failed to get the mail.
The server returned the error
"Cannot assign requested address"

Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
Plesk 12.0.18 Updated #24

Have the same problem since this morning (12/30/2014, 09:50 CET). Think it's a GMAIL issue (?).
Gmail is also not able to connect to any of my host IPs even though via Thunderbird / Android device everything works fine.

For me the error doesn't occur any more, only once in a while until manual refresh. The logs are empty in that case - no entry in mail.log, err, warn, system, anywhere about google trying to connect. I don't know what leads to this.
