• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Going to be installing spamhaus

I have a redhat server hosted with ev1servers which runs plesk 7.5.3 (named/bind, qmail) and I am wanting to install the spamhaus anti-spam system. I've downloaded the instructions from the spamhaus.org site and know that I have to get rbldnsd running alongside named/bind. I am a bit scared that I will be breaking something and was wondering if anyone can point out any gotchas or links to a guide for this specific setup?

EDIT: after an unsuccessful attempt at getting spamhaus working with plesk 7.5, we upgraded to 8.1 and used MicroTrend RBL instead, as that is directly supported by Plesk.
