Question Grafana V9 Compatibility?

I'm considering extending our use of Grafana and was wondering if version 9.0 will work with the latest version of Plesk?

In Plesk, Grafana comes as a corresponding Plesk extension. This extension uses Grafana version 8.3.6
I don't understand how you will use Grafana 9.0 outside of this extension?
Apparently, Grafana 9.0 will be used within the extension at some point, but I have no word yet on when exactly that will happen.
