  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Totally n00be here..

We just spent a month or so setting up our first VPS at 1and1.com. It comes with Centos & Plesk 9.0.1.

We're only hosting 1 website; our company's.

We setup a temporary domain name on as we went through all the configuration process and got our applications running. Our temp domain is: mydomain.info. We did this so that our live site would not have any down time. Finally once everything was ready to go. We went to add our real domain: mydomain.com but were unable to figure out how to add it to the existing domain folder. Our temporary work around was to add the domain as we did the other (which created it's own profile) and then we through a htaccess redirect. It worked but of course when people get to the site the temporary domain shows instead of the real one.

How can we get the real domain to point to the already existing folder: mydomain.info?

Thank you,
CG
