hi,

unfortunately one of my Windows 2003 Web servers with Plesk 7.6 has the problem if the Plesk Managment service runs each hosted website require a user and a password. The solution described in the KB system http://kb.swsoft.com/article_156_1716_en.html does not work.
Websrvmng --update-anon-passwords-all is the same.
Delete psacInc and start Reconfigure to set the permissions new.... does not work.

And by the way..... the server is refresh installed. And the PSA-Backup was used to restore the domains.

So.... is there any other known solution for the problem ???

Reprovision the solution?

Godaddy CLAIMS to have attempted to repair my dedicated server which was recently infected with a virus due to the security flaw in the mail program. They say it results in a blue screen.

Their final solution is to re-provison the server which will require me to restore from a backup (hopefully).

Does anyone have ANY other solution. Has anyone successfully repaired from this scenario.

I can find no proof that they logged into my computer in safe mode .. my audit process shows no entries. In my opinion GoDaddy is simply taking the simple way out of this situation. I do not recommend them for dedicated hosting services.
